Recruitment

Thinking about going greek at UK?

Greek life at the University of Kentucky includes more than 51 chapters and 6,000 students (that’s almost 20% of undergrad students!). Joining Greek life here at UK is a great way to get to know people on campus and get involved outside of class and in the campus community. In your first few years, it’s always great to see a friendly face wearing your letters who you can sit with. Joining Greek life is also a great way to get involved in some amazing philanthropies that help better the city of Lexington and its people. No matter what sorority or fraternity you join, you will be able to find people who share your core ideals and values: a best friend, your future big or little, a workout buddy, or someone totally down to get waffles any time of day. Being a part of Greek life is being a part of something bigger than yourself and your friends, it’s actually being the change you want to see in the world!

Dear Potential New Members,

I’m so excited that you are interested in becoming a member of the Greek community at the University of Kentucky. Becoming an Alpha Chi Omega not only completed my college experience but gave me so much more than I ever expected. Because of this organization, I have become more confident, a stronger woman and leader, but most importantly a better friend. Alpha Chi Omega has created my home away from home at University of Kentucky.

I am honored to have been chosen as the Vice President of Recruitment for the Delta Omega chapter of Alpha Chi Omega. Recruitment is an incredible time for all collegiate women to meet one another, make lifelong friendships and find your place on our campus.

As the way formal recruitment and college life changes this fall, Alpha Chi Omega is looking forward to welcoming new amazing women into our chapter and doing everything we can to keep our college experience alive. I can’t wait for each of you to experience the Greek community here at UK. Alpha Chi Omega cannot wait to watch all of you succeed this year and reach new heights!

Loyally,

Elizabeth
